Welcome to Unwait.me ("we," "our," or "us"). As a service owned and operated by Questly Kft. (Questly Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, registered in Hungary, Tax ID: 32757402-1-42), these Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

These Terms comply with Hungarian and EU laws, including GDPR and consumer protection regulations.

1. Platform Functionality and Subscription Plans

Core Features

Unwait.me allows users to:

Log blockers when waiting on others.
Assign blockers to teammates and notify them via email.
Track pending tasks where they are blocked or blocking someone else.
Invite teammates to join the platform.

Subscription Plans

Unwait.me offers two subscription plans:

Free Plan:

Basic blocker tracking
Email notifications for assigned blockers
Limited task history retention
Standard support

Plus Plan:

All Free Plan features
Advanced reporting and analytics
Priority customer support
Extended retention of task history
Additional team management tools
Customizable notification settings

Limitations

Notifications depend on email deliverability and user settings.
Task tracking is based on user-input data and does not integrate with external task managers.
Unwait.me does not enforce deadlines—it provides visibility but does not take action beyond notifications.

2. User Responsibilities

By using Unwait.me, you agree to:

Provide accurate information during signup.
Use the platform responsibly (e.g., no spam, harassment, or false reports).
Respect other users' privacy and avoid unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.

3. User Data Handling

Account and Data Management

Your account is created upon signup, with data stored securely using Row Level Security (RLS) policies.
Data is deleted immediately upon account deletion.

Retention Policy

Active accounts: Data is retained indefinitely.
Deleted accounts: All associated data is removed promptly.

4. Third-party Integrations and Payment Processing

Our services depend on third-party tools to provide the best user experience. These include:

Supabase: Authentication, data storage, and real-time task tracking.
Google OAuth: Enables seamless login.
Email Notifications: Used for blocker alerts and invites.
Paddle: Payment processing for Plus subscriptions.

Payment Processing

For Plus subscriptions, we use Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a Plus subscription, you'll enter into separate agreements with:

Unwait.me (for the service provided)
Paddle (for the payment processing)

Paddle.com handles all payment processing, tax calculations, and payment security. Please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms for additional information.

We are not responsible for the actions of third-party providers but strive to work with reputable partners.

5. Automated Features

Unwait.me includes:

Automated email notifications when a user is assigned a blocking task.
Real-time updates for task tracking.
Reminder features for pending tasks.
Subscription management including automatic renewals for Plus plans.

You can manage your notification settings within the platform.

6. Security Measures

We employ industry-standard security practices:

Row Level Security (RLS) policies in Supabase.
Secure authentication through Supabase Auth.
HTTPS encryption for all data transmission.
Rate limiting to prevent abuse.
Secure payment processing through Paddle.

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. Use our platform at your own risk.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Unwait.me offers a Free Plan with no charges, and a Plus Plan with a premium subscription.

Our refund and cancellation policy applies to Plus subscribers. For detailed information on our refund and cancellation policies, please refer to our dedicated Refund Policy page.

Important points regarding refunds and cancellations:

Consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase
Your subscription will automatically renew until cancelled
Subscriptions can be cancelled by contacting peter@unwait.me at least 48 hours before the renewal date
The cancellation right doesn't apply once you begin using the digital services
There are no refunds for unused portions of subscription periods

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Unwait.me is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We do not guarantee immediate responses from assigned blockers.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months (if any).

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you provide (e.g., task details).
All platform content (e.g., code, design) is owned by Unwait.me and protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms.
Engage in illegal or harmful activities.
Fail to pay applicable subscription fees.

You may delete your account at any time, and all associated data will be deleted immediately.

For Plus subscribers, cancellation of your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must separately request subscription cancellation by contacting peter@unwait.me.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in Hungarian courts.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of the service signifies acceptance of the changes.

We may also modify the features and pricing of our subscription plans with reasonable notice to subscribers.
